Premiere Healthcare has been set up in 2003 with the purpose of promoting and distributing high quality ethical pharmaceuticals and disposable medical products to private pharmacies, health clinics and the Maltese National Health Service.

Originally set up within a humble 100 square meter store in a residential zone, and with a few products which could be counted on the fingers of one hand, we were soon faced with the regulatory challenges of meeting EU GDP guidelines when Malta joined the European Union in 2004.

However, following this transitional period, we never looked back, and thanks to the collective effort of the management and all employees, we have expanded and moved to fully fledged premises, licensed by the Medicines Authority in Malta for the wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical products. Today apart from a storage area of more than 1000 sqr meter stores, our portfolio also comprises more than 1000 different products including pharmaceuticals, Medical devices and Body care products.

Premiere Healthcare strives relentlessly and is always on the look out to source high quality medical products worldwide to provide customers with value for money. Continual customer interaction helps to identify operational shortfalls which are frequently overcome by answers from our reputable suppliers. Our product portfolio is driven by end users whose demands for innovation continually provoke the introduction of constantly evolving products.

Premiere Healthcare also assists foreign suppliers in obtaining Marketing authorisations for their products in Malta and comply with the regulatory requirements of Maltese legislation and EU Regulations.

Despite its relatively recent establishment, Premiere Healthcare has contributed towards the pharmaceutical market in Malta and through its promotion mechanism has managed to introduce innovator products, which are frequently considered as the first line and treatment of choice for their indicated health conditions.
